Anime Story 2 Units
Units are gacha pulls with roles (DPS, tank, support, leader) and element tags. Power comes from duplicates for stars, relic slots, traits, and evolution paths. Invest in a small core roster instead of leveling every pull.
Rarity Tiers
Higher rarity has better base stats and skill kits — but some legendaries fall off; meta matters more than color label.
Secret / Ascended
Top banner units — Slime (Demon), Sound Breather Master, Kaizen (Ascended), Asota (Devil). Build your account around one or two.
Mythic / Legendary
Strong fillers: Flame Lion, Shadow Knight, Reaper (Bankai), Black Bull, Jolios (King).
Epic / Rare
Story and early tower — Ultimate Warrior, Acu, Vogita; replace as S-tier dupes appear.
Fodder units
Do not invest trait tokens — use for evolution feed or bench sync only.
Role Breakdown
Standard five-unit layout: 1 tank, 2–3 DPS, 1 support or leader.
DPS
Main damage — Sound Breather Master, Slime (Demon), Kaizen (Ascended), Ant King. Stack crit relics and damage traits.
Tank
Frontline — Raven (Red) best; Black Bull, Titan, Ruki, Vogita as substitutes. Demon Ring + Coal.
Support
Buffs, cleanses, DoT amp — Gojin, Destruction, Tatsumaki, Wandering Mage, Yono (Star).
Leader
Party-wide passives — Jolios (King), Flame Lion, Crimson King, Black Bull crit lead.
Element synergy
Water (Slime), Dark (Destruction), Nature (Tatsumaki/Dark Swordsman) — align subs with carry element.
Upgrade Priority
Where to spend levels, stars, and mats after Update 0.5.
First max: main DPS
Slime (Demon) or Sound Breather Master — relics and traits before second DPS.
Second: tank
Raven (Red) or Black Bull — survivability unlocks higher tower and Rome farms.
Third: support
Gojin or Jolios (King) depending on bleed vs revive needs.
Fourth: second DPS
Kaizen (Ascended) or Ant King for boss burn and mark synergy.
Bench projects
Dark Swordsman (Ascended) if Nature Tower is your bottleneck.
Do not spread
Six half-built units lose to five fully relic'd meta units in CP checks.
